In physics the theory of relativity by the great scientist Albert Einstein, the theory gave birth to a concept to time traveling in the world of physics. In this infinite universe, The speed of time on the celestial bodies depends on their gravity. Wherever there is more gravity, time goes slow. And where there is less gravity, time goes fast. It means that time is running at different speeds on all celestial bodies in this universe. Like the time on Mars, it is running faster than Earth. And on Jupiter planet, time is running slower than earth but this difference of time on all the planets of our solar system is very very tiny.

If we want to feel this difference of time, then we will have to go to such a celestial body whose gravity is more than many times greater than our Sun. And in the Universe, there are such objects that are affecting time, one of which is the Blackhole, which is a natural time machine.

In the universe, only black holes are such objects which have very much gravity so that it turns even the light at 360 degrees and this light can’t go out from the black hole.

Why does the time slow down due to Gravity?

Before traveling through the black hole, we need to know why does the time slow down due to gravitational force?

Suppose there is a box which is in Zero Gravity. Now a light ray comes out from the top of the box which goes into the bottom of the box. So, here it will take some time to get the light from the top of the box to the bottom. Now suppose that the acceleration of the box increases towards the upside, which means accelerating it up. Now a light ray turns out from the top and goes to the bottom. The thing to notice in this case is that the box is moving forward with acceleration. Because of this, the light will have to travel the distance from the top to the bottom, because the box’s bottom is moving towards the light, so this will take less time to reach the light from top to bottom.

As the acceleration of the box increases, the time of the light to go from top to bottom will less. And let me tell you that acceleration is called gravity. As if the earth’s gravity is 9.8 meters per second square Or in other words, the acceleration of the earth is 9.8 meters per second square.

I hope, now you have understood why the time is slow down due to Gravity. Time is running according to the gravity present there on all the celestial bodies present in the universe. It has been tested that the time in the GPS satellites run faster than the Earth. But this difference of time is very very tiny as millionths of a second.

The speed of Time in Black Hole

Any celestial objects have been discovered in the universe so far, The black hole is such a structure that has too much density. Because of high density, black holes have a lot of gravity. If something falls inside the black hole, it can never get out of it even light. The black hole’s gravity is so intense due to which the time inside the black hole.

If someone wants to travel in time, He’ll have to go to a planet near the black hole. Because Blackhole’s gravity will affect the planet’s time. and the speed of time on that planet will be slower than the speed of the time on the Earth.

But this will be a one-way ticket to the future. Once we’ll reach in the future, we can’t return back. But the biggest problem is that we have the closest black hole is 1600 light years away from us.
